Marabou Feather Boas

Marabou Feather Boas

We love to use the feather boas around here.  Our marabou feather boas weigh 15 grams.  They have been cleaned, dried and then dyed.  They are $13.50 a dozen or $2 each as of this writing.

Marabou feather boas are a favorite among crafters.  The reason for this is because if you cut the rope that the feathers are attached to, then they don’t come off (atleast not very many), because the cord doesn’t typically unwind.  Marabou boas are used a lot to make marabou clips, hair clips, feather headbands, wreaths, trimming on clothing, used on scrapbook pages and to make homemade cards.  The uses of marabou boas are just about endless.

Also, once you cut the boa, just wrap it around your hand and put it back into the poly bag it came in.  That way, you can keep what you don’t use in your crafting area and you won’t get feathers everywhere.  If the tape on the poly bag isn’t very sticky, just stick a piece of tape over it to keep it sealed.  This helps us reduce, reuse and recycle.

Marabou Feather BoasWe carry red marabou boas, pink marabou boas, orange marabou boas, yellow marabou boas, lime green marabou boas, royal blue marabou boas, lavender marabou boas, purple marabou boas, brown marabou boas, black marabou boas and white marabou boas.

Of course these boas can also be worn around your neck for a night out on the town, or when your daughter wants to play dress up.  If dress up is your game, then these would be great.  They typically don’t shed feathers as badly as the chandelle ones do.

Our marabou feather boas are always priced right and better than other ‘sale’ prices on other websites.  That is because they are always discount, cheap and wholesale pricing!  There seems to be some confusion on how to spell marabou boas.  It is Marabou.  Although if you see it spelled maribou, maribo, maraboo or marabou it is the same thing!

We are the manufacturer, distributor and we use factories in China.  OEM products for you.  Great for carnivals, festivals, fundraisers, booster clubs and more.  Use them for your school colors at football and basketball games!

Let us know how you use your marabou feather boas.  Have a great day!

Simple Halloween Wreath

So, I didn’t really do a tutorial, but this is a really simple wreath to make and can be done for almost any holiday. I just took a regular everyday pool noodle (this one was purchased at the dollar store), bent it into a circle, and taped it together with regular old packing tape. Voila–a cheap foam wreath form! Then I wrapped black chandelle boas around it securing the ends of each piece with straight pins.

Continue to do this until your wreath is how you like it. I pushed my boa wraps pretty close together because I didn’t want any of the pool noodle showing through. I ended up using 7 boas for this wreath.

Then just decorate it with the ribbon of your choice. I used some wired Halloween ribbon we have here at Always Underpay. Super duper easy and cute Halloween wreath!
