Step One:

Freehand cut two bunny ears from your cardboard pieces. It’s ok if they look a bit wonky as long as they are about the same size. You won’t notice once we’re done.

Now trace each of the cardboard ear shapes onto the white and the pink felt twice with the pen and cut them out. You’ll end up with four total felt pieces for each ear.

**You’ll want to cut the felt pieces so that the bottom edge is a little longer than your cardboard ears so we can use that bit of felt to stabilize and secure the ears to the headband later.

Step Two:

Using your scissors, cut a small bit of the felt ear pieces off evenly all the way around. Probably about 1/4” off of each side.

Step Three:

Using the hot glue gun, glue the cardboard ears that you cut between the two coordinating white pieces of felt. Now, hot glue the two pink pieces pieces of felt on top of the white ones on each side as shown below so that the bottom edge of the felt is longer than your cardboard as shown below:

**DO NOT glue the edges by your little tabs that I told you were for stability. Leave that piece open for now.

Step Four:

Using the hot glue gun, run a bead of glue up the cardboard piece that is sandwiched between the felt pieces. Then, press one end of your white marabou feather boa against the glue. Keep doing this all until you have covered the two longer sides of the bunny ear. Clip the boa off at the end and repeat with the other bunny ear.

Step Five:

Bend back your two tabs to expose the cardboard inside of the ear piece. Put a good glob of hot glue along the edge of that cardboard and then stick the glue to the outside edge of the headband. Hold it there for about 30 seconds to let it dry before you repeat this with the other ear.

Next, trim off any excess on your felt that is too long to fold under the inside of the headband. Then, using hot glue, adhere the felt tabs of your ears to the underside edge of your headband.

Step Six:

Remove the clip from the back of the baby boutique bow. This can take some wiggling and prying, but if you are careful, it will come out without undoing the bow. Now, just glue the bow to the middle of your headband between the two bunny ears.

Cardboard Piece (about 6″ square)

Step One:

Wrap your tulle around the cardboard piece. I didn’t really count, but I’m guessing I probably went around it 20 times or so.

Step Two:

Using your scissors, cut up each side of the cardboard splitting the tulle in half. You will be left with a stack of square tulle pieces.

3
Step Three:

Wrap your string tightly around the center of the tulle square making it look a little like a bow tie.

Step Four:

Now, start pulling the pieces of tulle apart from each other. Keep going until you feel like you have a nicely shaped little tail looking ball.

Step Five:

Using the glue gun, hot glue your puffy tail to the back center of your reversible pettiskirt.
