Materials Needed:

Pipe Cleaners in Yellow and Black—I used 2 of each color on each antennae because it made it a lot more sturdy

Yellow Flower Clip

Black Lace Leggings

Black Headband

Black and Yellow Pettiskirt (or You could use a black tutu and yellow tutu as well and just layer them on top of each other)

Black 8” Crochet Top

2 Yellow 1.5” crochet headbands

7/8” Yellow Grosgrain Ribbon

Antennae:

Twist two yellow and two black pipe cleaners together. Curl one end in a sort of fish hook looking shape to look like antennae. Twist the other end around the headband using enough length on the pipe cleaners to make it sturdy enough to stand up off the head. I used a bit of hot glue on the headband to keep it in place.

Top:

Layer the yellow 1.5” crochet headbands on top of the black headband to create bumble bee looking stripes. Thread a long piece of yellow ribbon through the holes in the crochet top to use as a neck tie. Clip a small yellow flower clip over the center of the ribbon at the neck of the top for embellishment.

Skirt:

For your skirt piece, you could use either the black/yellow pettiskirt, or you could also use a black and a yellow tutu stacked on top of one another. Either set would be adorable!
